Earth Treasures has been successfully assisting
schools across the Front Range in fundraising since 1992.
A locally owned business, Earth Treasures delivers a successful fundraising experience which is focused on student-centered learning by integrating literacy, math, science, and financial literacy standards into the fundraiser. At Earth Treasures, we believe that your fundraiser can foster meaningful student learning by engaging and empowering students, and, in the process, you earn money.
- Our Earth Fairs offer a unique and educational way for classrooms, grade levels, clubs, and organizations to earn money at no cost to themselves.
- We hone in on youngsters' love for rocks by bringing the "Rock Shop" or Earth Fair to you.
- Earth Fairs are similar in structure to a book fair, but may be run by the students and/or adults at your school, making learning quite memorable.
- Hosting an Earth Fair allows you to earn money quickly in a fun, motivating manner for your students.

OUR GOAL IS TO NOT ONLY ASSIST YOUR ORGANIZATION IN RAISING FUNDS BUT TO SUPPORT YOU IN PROVIDING AN INCREDIBLE LEARNING EXPERIENCE FOR YOUR STUDENTS. FOR 31 YEARS, WE'VE PARTNERED FOR SUCCESS WITH SCHOOLS ACROSS THE FRONT RANGE. "I was finally able to bring in a really cool, extremely successful fundraiser, Earth Treasures, to Sagebrush this year. This Colorado based company is run by an AH-MAH-ZING retired CCSD teacher who has not only the passion but the gift of engaging students of every need, interest, and ability into running a mini business within your school for a week. If you are looking for a new, high interest student-led (or not but WHOA, the kids were super engaged for a week straight in ALL academic areas) fundraiser, then you need to contact Cindy Loehr, the owner of Earth Treasures. You will not be disappointed."

Testimonials
"Rock Shop is more than a fun, popular and successful school fundraiser, it’s an experience! Mrs. Loehr infuses her boundless passion for education and children into every aspect of Earth Treasures. Since both of my children have been blessed to have Mrs. Loehr as their 4th grade teacher at Cottonwood Creek Elementary, I have had the opportunity to be a parent volunteer at Rock Shop two years in a row. I’ve seen up close how the experience engages upper elementary age students in the Shop – they are involved in inventory, sales, cashiering, and customer service as they help run the Shop. And to top it all off, it’s so much fun! The kids love collecting a variety of rocks, minerals, gems and gift items from around the world."

"The Earth Treasures Fair is an overall incredible experience for our school community every year. Not only are we able to sell high-quality merchandise at great prices, our students get to learn about the science behind the gems, minerals, fossils, and all items that are available. Our 5th grade students get to take on the responsibility of managing the fair, selling the merchandise, working with money, taking inventory, and managing the setup and cleanup of the fair. It is an engaging, real world experience that they never forget. Year after year, our students, families, and staff love being a part of this great tradition!"

"My name is Ashley and I was a volunteer and shopper at our school Earth Fair. When I was shopping, the workers let me pick which one of that item that I wanted. It was important for me to be able to pick out the exact rocks that I wanted because I am picky. As a cashier at our Earth Fair, it was kinda hard because I had to add up the amount of money that each person needed to pay. I learned that itś important to organize the money in the cash box, and be very careful when adding up the total amount. My favorite rocks were the heart stone that was kinda white and clear, and the smoky quartz. I bought one of each of these and put them on my dresser with the rest of my rocks."
Ashley Castruita, 5th Grade Student Rocky Mountain Elementary "The Earth Fair is a HUGE hit with our kids (and parents and staff). It offers fun, unique items at really reasonable prices. Whether kids are attracted to a huge shark's tooth or a pretty crystal necklace there is something (or many things) there for everyone." ~ Siobhan Eubanks, Adams 12 Middle School Teacher |
"Observing our two daughters participate in the Earth Treasures Rock Shop (Earth Fair) was a reminder as to how important it is to provide children the opportunity to take ownership of a project. The training, both product knowledge and shop business practices, expanded their typical "school-day" learning and empowered our girls and their classmates, allowing them to feel confident running the small business under the guidance of their mentor. Watching the fulfillment on their faces as they "taught" their friends about the merchandise, worked as a cashier, and counted the final profits was a testament to the success of this venture. We cannot thank Earth Treasures enough for bringing this opportunity to our school, as this real-life learning certainly expanded our daughters thinking along with creating wonderful memories."
